The Castelgarden XHT240 4WD E tractor mower is a durable high spec tractor mower boasting a strong bumper, iron foot panels and is designed for large sized gardens. Powered by a Briggs & Stratton Intek Series 8240 V-Twin, 724cc engine, it comes with 4WD hydrostatic transmission which enables precise control in obstructed areas.  It’s equipped with a 122cm cutting deck with twin contra-rotating collecting blades for high collection performance.  Engaging the blades couldn’t be easier with its electronic blade engagement feature; pull the control switch for “On” and push it in for “Off”.  The cutting height can be set thanks to the innovative "easy-memo" system which allows you to select 9 positions ranging from 25mm to 100mm.
The rear mounted 360 litre grass catcher can be easily emptied from the drivers seat; by pushing the electric dump button on the dashboard, the collector opens wide emptying out the clippings.  The Castelgarden XHT240 4WD E tractor mower also has an adjustable and hardback seat that provides the driver with optimum comfort.   A deck wash facility means keeping the deck clean couldn’t be simpler; just attach a hose to the snap-on connector, turn on the water and engage the blades. The dashboard on the Castelgarden XHT240 4WD E tractor mower features a multifunctional display on all standard models. It provides information about hours of operation, battery voltage, RPM indicator, 24 hour clock, oil level, fuel level and status of grass collector. The cutting deck is equipped with anti-scalp wheels which goes with the contours of your lawn thus reducing the risk of scalping when cutting in uneven areas.
The Castelgarden XHT240 4WD E tractor lawn mower is also an extremely versatile machine. While all models collect the grass clippings as standard, it also offers the added facility of recycling through the use of its mulching kit. A rear deflector attachment, which allows the grass to fall to the ground, is an optional extra accessory. Switching between collection or mulch modes is a simple process; just remove the grassbag, insert the mulching plug into the discharge chute and replace the collector. To return to collecting all you need to do is reverse this procedure.
